Joel's Friend Noah from NY Visits CA - part 2

Day 2, Monday, brought another beautiful sunny day. We started out by inviting Aunt Dee to have breakfast with us at the Red Bluff Municipal Airport. A very small airport just mainly for local planes. There is a little restaurant upstairs with a big window to watch the runway. The boys enjoyed looking at the slew of airplane magazines while waiting for their food. The breakfast was good and cheap!

After breakfast we went downstairs to the Charles Krause Aviation Museum. A small, but nice place where Noah couldn't get enough of the flight simulator.

From there we went outside to watch an airplane get fueled up and driven to it's parking place.

Next we went to a local park where Joel and Noah ran around playing until they were drenched in sweat and ready for some air conditioning.

Noah did another "first" in the afternoon when he picked ripe California plums from a tree in our yard. They were very tasty -- fresh and juicy! The boys spent the rest of the afternoon playing in the yard.

The evening took us to Redding where our niece, Cami had a baby boy -- Nathaniel Lucas. Noah and Joel were able to see the newborn and spent a lot of time in the hospital waiting room until well after midnight... and so day 2 ended with 2 very tired friends getting some sleep.

Joel's Friend Noah from NY Visits CA - part 1

Tim and Noah arrived from NY on the 17th of June. We greeted them at the Sacramento Airport. Time was short for Tim to catch his next flight to LA that he needed to make for his work. So, unfortunately, we only got to be together for about 15 minutes before he had to leave. However, Noah was able to stay with us for the next 4 days. Those 4 days were packed to the limit with fun, good times, and many "firsts" for Noah. They got very little sleep (and so did Shirl and I -- now that I think about it).

After Tim's flight took off we made a beeline to "Old Sacramento" where we spent the rest of the day. Included was a train ride pulled by a steam engine along the Sacramento River, a trip to the California State Railroad Museum, an Italian Buffet dinner, a 10-mile drive along the beautiful Sacramento River, ice cream at Baskin Robbins, and a 2 1/2 hour drive home with a beautiful California sunset to end the day.

"Out of the Wilderness"

If you are experiencing some sort of "wilderness" season in your life, perhaps this Word I received on 6/23/07 would be for you. If this Word bears witness in your Spirit, then receive it with gladness and know that God is working FOR you.
For His Glory,
Joe

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

"I AM from everlasting to everlasting!

"Did I not know you before your birth? Was I not there at the moment of your conception? Had I not planted your destiny in you way back then? Have I not been with you every second of your life? Have I not even redeemed what you have called your "wasted years"?

"For I AM THE Redeemer. I take what is intended for evil and turn it to good. I AM from everlasting to everlasting!

"I have heard you cry out, 'But I have never been in a wilderness like this before!' Have you not heard that I will make the desert bloom? Did you not remember that I trade ashes for beauty? -- sorrow for Joy? -- mourning for dancing?

"For I have led you by My Spirit into this place, and though it may be a hard place and it may be difficult -- I AM here! I AM from everlasting to everlasting!

"Declare My works! Walk humbly before Me! Be at peace with all men! Show mercy! Speak truth! Shine justice!

"When I AM ready to SPRING you forth from your 'wilderness', you will see My purpose and know I AM from everlasting to everlasting!

"Strengthen yourself, cover your family with My glory, and sing in the night. Soon the path will be clear for I AM from everlasting to everlasting!"
